A big thank you to everyone on A Dock for all of the hard work that went into making Saturday’s Southern BBQ such a great function!
With Guy Wood unable to prepare his famous pulled pork as originally planned after suffering a heart attack shortly before the event, the A Dock crew quickly pulled together and kept everything on track. A special thanks to Tootsie’s Diner for stepping in with the pulled pork, and to everyone who helped with the planning, food, setup, serving, games, and cleanup. 🍖⚓
We also want to send our very best wishes to Guy for a speedy recovery. ❤️
Despite the unexpected change of plans, A Dock put on a fantastic evening of great food, fun, and fellowship—and we appreciate everyone who helped make it happen!

🏴☠️ Pirate Beach Float In — Date Change! ⚓
Ahoy, LCYC mateys!
Please note that the Fourth Annual Fleet Captain’s Float In has been rescheduled. To allow for greater membership attendance and a more workable rain date, the Float In will now take place on Labor Day Weekend: Saturday, September 5, 2026, with a rain date of Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Join us from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pirate Beach in Kinsale, VA for a swashbucklin’ afternoon on the water with the LCYC crew. We’ll be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and light refreshments. Please remember to BYOB.
So mark yer calendars, gather yer crew, and make way for Pirate Beach. We’ll see you there for a bone-rattling good time! 🏴☠️⚓

Join E Dock on Saturday, September 19 for an evening packed with seafood, great company, and plenty of fun at the LCYC Clubhouse!
We’ll get things started with steamed crabs as an appetizer, followed by a seafood dinner featuring:

⚠️ Friendly Reminder: Annual Dues
We’ve received a lot of feedback this year about late fees, and we want to take this opportunity to provide a friendly reminder that annual fees are due each year by December 1st. There is a grace period until January 31 of the following calendar year. Any member who renews after January 31 will be required to pay the $20 late fee in addition to the annual fee. This is not a new rule, and is stated in the LCYC Bylaws. Renewing early helps our Commodore and Bridge better prepare for the year ahead, so please plan accordingly for 2027. We thank you for your understanding and continued support of our club!
