🦪 Thank You, D Dock — What a Great Way to Close Out the Year! ⚓
A huge THANK YOU to D Dock for all of the time, planning, preparation, and hard work that went into making this year’s Annual Oyster Roast such a great evening!
We also want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the final LCYC function of 2026 with us. Despite the rain and chilly weather, 94 attendees joined us for an evening of oysters, great food, drinks, and time with friends. It was a great turnout and a perfect reminder that a little bad weather can’t stop LCYC from having a good time!
We’re also excited to share that 34 members have already submitted their early 2027 renewals! Thank you to everyone who renewed and continues to support LCYC as we head into another year.
🍂 From D Dock and everyone who helped behind the scenes — thank you for making our last function of the year one to remember!
⚓ Up Next: 2026 Change of Watch
The 2026 functions may be finished, but we’re already looking ahead!
Our 2026 Change of Watch is currently proposed for March in Williamsburg, Virginia. Plans are still being finalized, so check back here soon for dates, location, lodging, registration, and additional details.
Thanks for another great year, LCYC — and we’ll see you at Change of Watch! 🥂⚓
⚓ Friendly Reminder: 2027 LCYC Membership Dues
With the 2026 function season now wrapped up, this is a friendly reminder that 2027 LCYC membership dues are due by December 1, 2026.
The early-renewal discount has now ended, but there is still plenty of time to complete your renewal and keep your membership current for the upcoming year.
Per the LCYC Bylaws, a $20 late fee will be added to any unpaid membership dues after January 31, 2027.
We encourage everyone to renew as soon as possible so your membership is all set before the new season gets underway.
Important Dates
- December 1, 2026 — Membership dues are due
- After January 31, 2027 — A $20 late fee will be applied to unpaid dues
Thank you for your continued support of Lodge Creek Yacht Club. We’re looking forward to another great year of boating, functions, and time together in 2027! ⚓
