Come hungry and join A Dock on Saturday, August 15 for an evening of great Southern food and dockside fun!
Cocktail hour and appetizers begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. featuring Guy Wood’s famous smoked pulled pork, homemade slaw, baked beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Stick around after dinner for games, prizes, and plenty of good fellowship! 🍖🍹🎉

Please note that the Fourth Annual Fleet Captain’s Float In has been rescheduled. To allow for greater membership attendance and a more workable rain date, the Float In will now take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with a rain date of Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Join us from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pirate Beach in Kinsale, VA for a swashbucklin’ afternoon on the water with the LCYC crew. We’ll be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and light refreshments. Please remember to BYOB.
So mark yer calendars, gather yer crew, and make way for Pirate Beach. We’ll see you there for a bone-rattling good time! 🏴☠️⚓
🎄⚓ Christmas in July Dock Crawl in the Books⚓🎄
🎄🍹 The 2026 Christmas in July Dock Crawl was a huge success! Although a strong thunderstorm rolled through just as the festivities were getting underway—and wildfire smoke from Canada and the Midwest brought some less-than-ideal weather and air quality—the rain soon cleared, and the rest of the evening went off without a hitch. ⛈️
Every dock served up an excellent selection of food and drinks, with plenty of festive spirit to go around! Special highlights included the famous “Knockout Punch” from A/B Dock, D Dock’s delicious brisket, and the fan favorite “Little Beer” shots making their way around E Dock. 🍺
A big thank-you to everyone who helped make the evening such a fun and memorable event! 🎅⚓🎄

⚠️ Friendly Reminder: Annual Dues
We’ve received a lot of feedback this year about late fees, and we want to take this opportunity to provide a friendly reminder that annual fees are due each year by December 1st. There is a grace period until January 31 of the following calendar year. Any member who renews after January 31 will be required to pay the $20 late fee in addition to the annual fee. This is not a new rule, and is stated in the LCYC Bylaws. Renewing early helps our Commodore and Bridge better prepare for the year ahead, so please plan accordingly for 2027. We thank you for your understanding and continued support of our club!
